Inserting the implant

Local anesthesia is administered to numb the oral cavity, and once it takes effect, a small incision will be made on the gums. By using high precision dental instruments, a small hole will be made in the jawbone in place of the missing tooth. The implant will be inserted in it with extreme caution and precision.

Healing period

Once the implant is placed, a suitable healing period of a few months will be suggested. During this, the implantation site will be allowed to heal, and the bone would fuse with the metal implant stud. This helps to provide excellent stability, which makes the implant last for several years without any hassle.

Fixing the artificial tooth

Once the healing period is completed, digital scans will be taken to create a highly accurate digital impression of the ceramic crown. It will be sent to a dental laboratory where the crown is made using dental-grade, tooth-colored ceramic. The dentist will check the implant for strength and stability, after which the crown will be placed on it. If any changes with the fit are required, we will make them and permanently bond the crown using an abutment and dental adhesives. Finally, an x-ray will be taken to check for the implant’s position.
